"You deserve all of the best things"

Last night, after I sent a dear friend of mine to her residence, I decided to open up. I will not go into details, but they were mainly on worries, purpose and gratitude. Today, I want to document some of her advice as we exchanged heartfelt sharing. One: We will not attract what we do not think we deserve. No matter how much I feel like I am undeserving of more blessings because Allah has given me so much, His mercy has no limit. When praying for something, trust that Allah will send it.    "You deserve all of the best things, Farida" Two: Stop apologising when it is unneeded. I apologise a lot. Even when I know it might make the other party uncomfortable. For example, after I shared my problems and received her advice, I couldn't help but say "sorry that you have to listen to that".  She paused and said "Farida, do not apologise, just say thank you, there's nothing to apologise about" I believe this point relates to the first point, I apologise a...
