If I Grew Up With A Sister

If I grew up with a sister, will I still be me?
Will I have someone to share my agony?
Will she understand the dilemma of a woman my age?
And offer me advice to calm my rage?

If I grew up with a sister, will I ever be lonely?
Will I still find friendship a necessity while trying not to appear needy?
Will we share our hopeless love story without judgment and worry?
And when I am broken, will she offer me a trip of cakes & coffee?

If I have a sister, will she like me?
Will she adore or will she displease my clumsy?
And when I fail in my pursuits, will she keep me in company?

I did not grow up with a sister.
But if I have one, I am sure she is pretty.
She must be wise, understanding and kind,
Spending our days reading each other's minds.

Disclaimer: Let me end by saying that, I love my brothers. I love my sis in laws. I love my parents. I love my friends. And I do not wish for a different life.
